Any bird can be held for a $25 non-refundable deposit. If you reserve a baby who is still being hand fed I will notify you as soon as the bird is weaned. I DO NOT sell unweaned babies to ANYONE.
Deposits and payments can be made by cash, personal check or money order as well as credit/debit cards through Paypal. Send Paypal payments to payments@jennifersbirdhouse.com. No matter what payment method is used, please specify band number of the bird or birds you wish to purchase. If applicable, payment must clear the bank before your new bird can be picked up. I will accept reasonable payment plans as long as the terms are agreed upon by both parties ahead of time. No bird will leave until it is paid for in full. The quality of a bird can change significantly as it gets older, therefore prices are subject to change at any time. However prices will never be changed on a bird you have already placed a deposit on. I will not guess as to the sex of a bird because I don't like being wrong and people don't like being disappointed. If I have the sex of a bird listed it is with 100% certainty. There are three ways I would know FOR SURE. 1-By the bird's color compared to the parents' genetics (This takes a deeper understanding of breeding). 2-It is a proven breeder. 3-It has been DNA tested. DNA sexing going to be done on all babies this year, and is now included in the price. You will receive the certificate which says the sex of your bird. Buyers also have the option of running a complete disease testing if they pay for it in advance. The cost for this testing is $75.00 per bird and includes Polyoma, Beak & Feather Disease, Pacheco's and Chlamydia. We do not test ALL of our birds, but of the ones we have, all have come back negative. All babies born to us are NCS banded and come with a hatch certificate and Pedigree. If you want to do a little breeding of your own here is a site that will help you produce great color. It has been extremely helpful to me in the past. www.kirstenmunson.com/cockatiels/blue.html |
